About the Shop

Buchanan Letterpress (BLP) originally opened in Baltimore, MD in 2015, by Alysa Buchanan, visual designer and software researcher. Pre-covid, BLP would tour the start of North Carolina attending weekend craft shows, vintage markets, and local fairs. With a tabletop printing press in tow, visitors to the BLP booth would have the chance to print on a 95 year old press and get a small taste of what is so lovely about the craft. Your support and encouragement of BLP allows Alysa to continue sharing the art of letterpress through uplifting, and sometimes snarky, designs.
